.Discussion...
Broad, weak high pressure over Florida starts to push
southeastward late Monday as a weakening front approaches. With
the ridge axis to the south, southwesterly to westerly flow will
favor the WCSB and slow the ECSB, resulting in a collision near or
just east of the Orlando Metro Sunday, and further east Monday as
flow increases a little. High pressure aloft shifts over Florida,
further increasing temperatures and lowering humidity. Afternoon
highs push well into the 90s inland, closing on 100 in parts of
Okeechobee and Osceola Monday. Min RHs drop to 35-45 pct inland,
and 30-35 pct can`t be ruled out across the western interior.
Generally dry conditions, but a lightning storm in the vicinity of
the sea breeze from the Treasure Coast to Lake Okeechobee can`t be
ruled out. Afternoon smoke dispersion will be Generally to Very
Good Sunday, and Very Good to Excellent Monday due to very high
mixing heights.
Fog potential and other remarks...Widespread fog is not forecast.
However, localized visibility reductions due to smoke from new or
existing fires will be possible even if fog is not forecast.
