.DISCUSSION...

Good evening. Breezy and gusty east-northeast winds this afternoon with
speeds around 15 knots with gusts of 20 to 25 knots. Mostly dry through
tonight, with rain chances of 10 percent or less. Winds will remain elevated
overnight with wind speeds of 10-12 knots and gusts to around 20 knots
possible. On Saturday, isolated to scattered showers and isolated lightning
storms are possible in the afternoon, especially in the late afternoon. Breezy
and gusty winds will continue, with east-northeast winds 10-15 knots with gusts
of 15-25 knots possible. Minimum RH will fall to 50-60 percent on Saturday
afternoon. Smoke dispersion values will be very good on Saturday due to
the elevated wind speeds. These good dispersion values combined with dry fuels
will produce very sensitive fire weather conditions through Saturday.
