Surface observations, satellite imagery, and local traffic
cameras indicate patchy ground fog development across portions of
Brevard, Osceola, Okeechobee, Indian River, Saint Lucie, and
Martin counties this morning. Visibility of half a mile or less
at times may occur through 8am.

Motorists are encouraged to exercise caution if encountering fog
this morning. Slow down, increase following distance, and use
low-beam headlights when driving through patchy, locally dense
fog. Plan ahead for extra travel time to destinations.

Visibility is forecast to improve after 8am as fog dissipates.
