The National Weather Service in Melbourne has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Northwestern St. Lucie County in east central Florida...
  East central Okeechobee County in east central Florida...
  South central Indian River County in east central Florida...

* Until 430 PM EDT.

* At 342 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 10 miles east of
  Fort Drum, moving southeast at 10 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
           to roofs, siding, and trees.

* This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
  northwestern St. Lucie, east central Okeechobee and south central
  Indian River Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Large hail, damaging wind, and continuous cloud to ground lightning
are occurring with this storm. Move indoors immediately. Lightning is
one of nature`s leading killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder,
you are close enough to be struck by lightning.
