Minnesota River at Montevideo affecting Lac qui Parle, Chippewa and Yellow Medicine Counties. .High water continues along the Minnesota River near Montevideo due to recent rainfall. Widespread rain is expected overnight and again on Tuesday, which will lead to steady or rising river levels in the coming days. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks. Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads.
