Minnesota River at Montevideo affecting Chippewa, Lac qui Parle and Yellow Medicine Counties. .River flooding continues on the Minnesota River at Montevideo. The river is forecast to crest this afternoon near 15 feet, however levels are expected to remain steady in minor flood stage over the coming days due to additional rain and storm chances through the weekend. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
