Minnesota River at Montevideo affecting Chippewa, Lac qui Parle and Yellow Medicine Counties. .The recent stretch of wet weather has allowed the Minnesota River to maintain minor flood stage at Montevideo. The Flood Warning will continue until further notice as additional rain chances exist early this week. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
