...THUNDERSTORMS OVER THE WATERS...

The areas affected include...
  Lake Superior from Saxon Harbor WI to Upper Entrance to Portage
  Canal MI 5NM off shore to the US/Canadian border including Isle
  Royale National Park...
  Lake Superior from Upper Entrance to Portage Canal to Manitou
  Island MI 5NM off shore to the US/Canadian Border...
  Ontonagon to Upper Entrance of Portage Canal MI...
  Upper Entrance of Portage Canal to Eagle River MI...

At 956 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated showers and thunderstorms,
capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. These showers and
thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 15 nm north
of The Western Lake Superior Buoy to 15 nm west of The Lower
Entrance of Portage Canal, moving northeast at 35 knots.

Locations impacted include...
Rock of Ages Light and The Upper Entrance of Portage Canal.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor
immediately until these storms pass.
