The Flood Advisory is cancelled for a portion of east Tennessee,
including the following areas, Bledsoe, Grainger, Morgan, Rhea and
Union.

Urban and small stream flooding is no longer expected to pose a
threat. Please continue to heed remaining road closures.

...FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1130 AM EDT THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive
  rainfall continues.

* WHERE...A portion of east Tennessee, including the following
  counties, Anderson, Blount, Knox, Loudon, McMinn, Meigs, Monroe,
  Roane and Sevier.

* WHEN...Until 1130 AM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
  Water over roadways. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is
  occurring or is imminent.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 926 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. This may cause additional urban and small
    stream flooding. Overflowing poor drainage areas will cause
    minor flooding in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches
    of rain have fallen in the past 2 hours.
  - Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are expected
    over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
    flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Knoxville, Oak Ridge, Maryville, Athens, Clinton, Lenoir
    City, Alcoa, Kingston, Sweetwater, Loudon, Madisonville,
    Decatur, Farragut, Fairview, Oliver Springs, Louisville,
    Plainview, Rockford, Eagleton Village and Midtown.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
