MONROE...NORTHEASTERN HAMILTON AND SOUTHWESTERN ROANE COUNTIES
THROUGH 415 AM EDT/315 AM CDT/...

At 333 AM EDT/233 AM CDT/, Doppler radar was tracking a strong
thunderstorm near Spring City, or 9 miles northeast of Dayton, moving
northeast at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Athens, Dayton, Sweetwater, Dunlap, Madisonville, Pikeville, Decatur,
Soddy-Daisy, Spring City, and Graysville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 600 AM EDT/500 AM CDT/ for
east Tennessee.
