WASHINGTON...EASTERN GREENE...UNICOI AND CARTER COUNTIES THROUGH 1000
PM EDT...

At 905 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 10 miles southwest of Colonial Heights to 10
miles south of Tusculum. Movement was east at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 45 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Johnson City, Kingsport, Greeneville, Elizabethton, Erwin,
Jonesborough, Tusculum, Banner Hill, Central, and Spurgeon.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
