...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN SULLIVAN...
JOHNSON...NORTHEASTERN CARTER AND EASTERN WASHINGTON COUNTIES THROUGH
645 PM EDT...

At 559 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 11 miles southeast of Bristol Tn to near Reese.
Movement was northeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Mountain City, Glade Spring, Damascus, Trade, Neva, Laurel Bloomery,
Harr, Shady Valley, Konnarock, and Emory-Meadow View.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM EDT for
east Tennessee...and southwestern Virginia.
