...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 645 PM EDT
FOR SOUTHERN WASHINGTON...SOUTHEASTERN GREENE...UNICOI AND
SOUTHWESTERN CARTER COUNTIES...
At 623 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 9 miles southeast of
Tusculum, or 10 miles west of Erwin, moving east at 55 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Greeneville, Erwin, Tusculum, Banner Hill, Unicoi, Chucky,
Embreeville, Limestone Cove, Davy Crockett Birthplace, and Rocky
Fork.
This includes Interstate 26 in Tennessee between mile markers 32 and
51.
