...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 845 PM EDT
FOR SOUTHWESTERN BLOUNT AND EAST CENTRAL MONROE COUNTIES...

At 823 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 9 miles west of
Smoky Mountains-Twentymile Creek, or 16 miles northwest of
Robbinsville, moving east at 25 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Citico Beach, Talassee, and Deals Gap.
