Conditions given represent the highest within that period. Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be more than twice the significant wave height. Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms. .SYNOPSIS FOR NEW ENGLAND WATERS...Low pressure will move S of Nova Scotia tonight, and the low will then continue to slowly move farther away from the waters overnight and Fri as high pressure builds in from the W. There will be a lingering surface trough along and near the coast into Sat. Weak low pressure should move into the waters for Sat night and Sun. High pressure will then be in place again Sun night, though mariners should monitor later offshore and high seas forecasts with respect to low pressure east of the area. High pressure should weaken Mon and Mon night as another surface trough moves through the waters. High pressure will strengthen again for Tues and Tues night.
