This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of southwest
Iowa...west central Iowa...east central Nebraska...northeast
Nebraska and southeast Nebraska.

.DAY ONE...Tonight and Thursday

Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and
flood-prone areas is occurring due to heavy rain earlier this
week.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday night through Wednesday

There is a 80 to 90 percent chance of thunderstorms Thursday
evening and overnight, with a 20 to 40 percent severe storms.
Damaging winds will be the primary threat, but additional
localized flooding, large hail, and a tornado or 2 cannot be ruled
out.

Additional spotty thunderstorm chances are in the forecast
periodically Friday through Monday over the Memorial Day weekend,
although the severe weather threat looks low.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight, but may be
needed by Thursday evening.
