...HIGH WIND WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 1 AM CDT EARLY THIS
MORNING...

* WHAT...Southeast wind gusts of 60 to 70 mph expected

* WHERE...In Iowa, Fremont, Mills, and Pottawattamie Counties. In
  Nebraska, Douglas, Sarpy, Cass, and Otoe Counties.

* WHEN...Until 1 AM CDT early this morning.

* IMPACTS...Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines.
  Widespread power outages are expected. Travel will be difficult,
  especially for high profile vehicles.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Gusts of 60 to 70 mph have been observed in
  the Omaha Metro area. They are occurring outside of thunderstorms.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain in the lower levels of your home during the windstorm, and
avoid windows. Watch for falling debris and tree limbs. Use caution
if you must drive.
