...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 200 PM CDT
FOR EASTERN MONONA AND NORTHEASTERN HARRISON COUNTIES...

At 149 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 4 miles west of Mapleton to 3 miles north of Soldier
to 3 miles west of Woodbine, moving northeast at 50 mph.

HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable
         tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes,
         roofs, and outbuildings.

Locations impacted include...
Woodbine, Mapleton, Dunlap, Ute, Magnolia, Soldier, Castana, Turin,
Rodney, Kennebec, Schaben Park, and Willow Lake Recreation Area.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 500 PM CDT for southwestern
and west central Iowa.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
