...THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR EASTERN HARRISON COUNTY IS
CANCELLED...

The severe thunderstorm which prompted the warning has moved out of
the warned area. Therefore, the warning has been cancelled.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 500 PM CDT for southwestern
Iowa.

...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 300 PM CDT
FOR NORTHEASTERN POTTAWATTAMIE AND EASTERN SHELBY COUNTIES...

At 241 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 4 miles south of
Irwin, or 8 miles northeast of Harlan, moving northeast at 40 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
         roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Walnut, Irwin, Prairie Rose State Park, Elk Horn Creek Recreation
Area, and Jacksonville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 500 PM CDT for southwestern
Iowa.
