...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 215 PM CDT
FOR NORTHWESTERN POTTAWATTAMIE...SOUTHERN HARRISON...SOUTHWESTERN
SHELBY...SOUTHEASTERN WASHINGTON AND NORTH CENTRAL DOUGLAS
COUNTIES...

At 127 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 2 miles south of Modale to 4 miles northeast of
Bennington, moving northeast at 50 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Northern Omaha, Missouri Valley, Logan, Woodbine, Fort Calhoun,
Persia, Panama, Portsmouth, Tennant, Wilson Island State Park, Desoto
Bend National Wildlife Refuge, Hitchcock Nature Center, and
Historical Village Welcome Center.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 500 PM CDT for southwestern
Iowa...and east central Nebraska.
