...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 200 PM CDT
FOR MONONA AND NORTHEASTERN HARRISON COUNTIES...
At 138 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 3 miles west of Castana to Pisgah, moving northeast at
50 mph.
HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable
tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes,
roofs, and outbuildings.
Locations impacted include...
Onawa, Woodbine, Mapleton, Dunlap, Ute, Pisgah, Moorhead, Blencoe,
Magnolia, Soldier, Little Sioux, Castana, Turin, Rodney, Preparation
Canyon State Park, Willow Lake Recreation Area, Little Sioux Scout
Ranch, Kennebec, and Schaben Park.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
