...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 200 PM CDT
FOR SARPY AND SOUTHEASTERN DOUGLAS COUNTIES...
At 116 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 4 miles west of
Springfield, or 5 miles south of Gretna, moving northeast at 45 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Southeastern Omaha, Bellevue, Papillion, Ralston, Offutt AFB, La
Vista, Carter Lake, Springfield, Cedar Creek, Aksarben, Benson,
Chalco, Prairie Queen Recreation Area, Eppley Airfield, South Omaha,
Walnut Creek Recreation Area, Midtown, Wehrspann Lake, Old Market,
and Schramm Park State Recreation Area.
