...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 615 PM CDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of Middle Tennessee, including the following
  counties, Clay, Jackson, Macon, Overton, Pickett, Smith, Sumner
  and Trousdale.

* WHEN...Until 615 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
  Rises in small streams and normally dry arroyos.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 314 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of
    rain have fallen or will fall soon.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Lafayette, Livingston, Celina, Gainesboro, Byrdstown,
    Hartsville, Westmoreland, Red Boiling Springs, Whitleyville,
    Moss, Pleasant Shade, Standing Stone State Park, Dixon
    Springs, Dale Hollow Lake, Bethpage and Bledsoe Creek State
    Park.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
