...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 630 PM CDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of Middle Tennessee, including the following
  counties, Davidson, Dickson, Hickman, Rutherford, Williamson and
  Wilson.

* WHEN...Until 630 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
  Rises in small streams and normally dry arroyos. Ponding of water
  in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 325 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of
    rain have fallen or will fall shortly.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Murfreesboro, Franklin, Smyrna, Brentwood, La Vergne, Spring
    Hill, Nolensville, Forest Hills, Oak Hill, Belle Meade,
    Thompson`s Station, Antioch, Rural Hill, Walterhill,
    Fairview, Eagleville, Triune, Rockvale, Natchez Trace At
    Highway 96 and Leipers Fork.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
