.DISCUSSION...
Dry conditions prevail today through tonight. There will be a
chance for showers and thunderstorms Wednesday afternoon into
Wednesday evening, mainly near and to north and west of NYC but
rain amounts are less than a tenth of an inch, so this will not
present much of a wetting rain.
Winds will be generally east to southeast today near 5 to 10 mph.
The winds will remain nearly the same speed while becoming more
southeast tonight and more southerly Wednesday. Some gusts up to
20 mph are forecast Wednesday afternoon.
Forecast minimum relative humidity ranges mainly between 35 and
60 percent today, lowest across interior NE NJ and portions of the
Lower Hudson Valley. For Wednesday, the forecast minimum relative
humidity ranges mainly between 50 and 65 percent.
