A quiet start to the day will be followed by an incoming Low starting midday. Confidence is increasing that wetting rains will arrive for the Cascades, north Idaho, and northeast/north central Washington Tuesday afternoon into Wednesday. Many areas across the region can expect rain amounts of at least 0.25" through Wednesday. An passing cold front could produce isolated thunderstorm late Wednesday morning for North Washington and Idaho Panhandle.
