.DISCUSSION...
Gusty winds will continue through the early evening then begin to
subside, although remaining breezy overnight. Showers will also
continue across far eastern Washington and north Idaho through the
early evening. Another cold front will move through on Tuesday
with a second round of precipitation in the morning and breezy
southwest wind gusts up to 45 mph in the afternoon. There will
also be another round of showers and isolated thunderstorms across
the northeast Washington and north Idaho Tuesday afternoon. A
strong ridge of high pressure will build in for the rest of the
week resulting in a warming trend and dry conditions. Hot
temperatures for early June with highs in the upper 80s and 90s by
Friday.
