...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of northeastern Kay
County through 1230 PM CDT...

At 1152 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 6
miles west of Newkirk, moving east at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 30 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Newkirk, Kildare, Chilocco, Hardy, northern Kaw Lake, and Peckham.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
