The National Weather Service in Norman has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Northeastern Woods County in northwestern Oklahoma...

* Until 1130 PM CDT.

* At 1102 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 6 miles west of
  Avard, moving east at 30 mph. This warning is in addition to the
  Tornado Warning for Woods County.

  HAZARD...Golf ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
           damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
           wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Alva, Waynoka, Dacoma, Avard, Capron, and Hopeton.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
