The National Weather Service in Norman has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Southeastern Jackson County in southwestern Oklahoma...
  Western Tillman County in southwestern Oklahoma...

* Until 930 PM CDT.

* At 839 PM CDT, the leading edge of winds from a line of severe
  thunderstorms was located along a line extending from 3 miles north
  of Headrick to 3 miles north of Tipton to 8 miles south of
  Humphreys, moving east at 20 mph.

  HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...At 8:25 pm, a 68 mph wind gust occurred at the Altus
           Mesonet site.

  IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to
           mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

* Locations impacted include...
  Frederick, Tipton, Manitou, and Hess.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect for the warned area.
