...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 PM CDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive
  rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of western Kentucky, including the following
  counties, Fulton, Graves and Hickman and southeast Missouri,
  including the following county, Mississippi.

* WHEN...Until 800 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
  Water over roadways.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 457 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. This is causing urban and small stream
    flooding. Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen.
  - Kentucky 307 is the most likely place to experience minor
    flooding.
    Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over
    the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Fulton, Hickman, Clinton, Cayce, Fulgham, Dorena, Wingo and
    Water Valley.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
