05/26/2024 Trigg KY NWS Storm Survey
EF-2 Tornado started at 8:59 a.m. near
Highway 525 southeast of Cadiz, and
continued 19 miles, to about 7 miles
southeast of Hopkinsville or just northwest
of Pembroke around 9:14 a.m. Damage to
numerous homes due to downed trees. Two
homes directly impacted due to the tornadic
winds, with roof damage. Many trees snapped
or uprooted. Several farm buildings damaged.
Maximum wind speeds 115 mph. Path width was
up to 250 yards.
