...Preliminary Storm Surveys Scheduled for Three Areas in
Allegheny and Westmoreland Counties in Pennsylvania...

The National Weather Service office in Pittsburgh will conduct
storm surveys for the suspected tornadoes that occurred in three
areas today, May 17th. The first survey will be conducted this
evening near Aspinwall in Allegheny County. Additional surveys
will be conducted tomorrow near the Mount Vernon/Elrama area in
Allegheny County, as well as near Harrison City in Westmoreland
County. A final assessment including results of the surveys are
expected to be completed and transmitted via a Public Information
Statement over the next few days.
