...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN WESTMORELAND COUNTY
THROUGH 500 PM EDT...

At 428 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Lawson Heights, or 8 miles south of Latrobe, moving east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Latrobe, Lawson Heights, Ligonier, Calumet-Norvelt, Youngstown,
Laurel Mountain, Loyalhanna Gorge, Laurel Mountain State Park, and
Acme.

This includes Pennsylvania Turnpike between mile markers 83 and 88,
and near mile
  marker 96.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
