.DISCUSSION...An upper low pressure system will bring breezy west
winds mainly between 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 40 mph, except
in Oregon Columbia Basin and foothills of the southern Blues
where sustained winds will be up to 35 mph and gusts up to 50 mph.
Scattered showers with snow or rain/snow mix in mountain areas
will develop across the region throughout the day, with low
chances (15-30%) of isolated thunderstorms developing across the
eastern mountains and Columbia Basin. Dry conditions and light
winds will return late tonight and persist through Friday morning.
