Fire Weather Planning Forecast FOR S Cntrl and Sern Colorado
National Weather Service Pueblo Co
227 PM MDT Tue Jun 4 2024

.Discussion...

Hot and dry conditions will dominate the weather pattern through
the end of the work week with the warmest temperatures expected
on Wednesday and Friday. Breezy north to northwest winds of today
will decrease through the end of the week, as as high pressure builds
over the region. An uptick in thunderstorm chances return for late
this week into early next week, particularly across the southeast
mountains and plains. This will drop temperatures back towards
seasonal norms beginning Saturday and continuing into next week.

Afternoon dispersions will rise into the very good to excellent
categories across the district tomorrow and again on Thursday.

--- thunderstorms imply strong gusty and erratic winds ---
