...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTH CENTRAL KIOWA AND
NORTHEASTERN BENT COUNTIES THROUGH 415 PM MDT...

At 350 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 10
miles west of Sweetwater Reservoir, or 23 miles northwest of Lamar,
moving northeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of south central Kiowa
and northeastern Bent Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM MDT for
southeastern Colorado.
