...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN EL PASO COUNTY
THROUGH 1245 PM MDT...

At 1208 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Fort Carson, or 7 miles south of Colorado Springs, moving east at 25
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Southeastern Colorado Springs, Fountain, Fort Carson, Stratmoor,
Security, and Security-Widefield.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
