638 WGUS82 KRAH 252316 FLSRAH Flood Advisory National Weather Service Raleigh NC 716 PM EDT Sat May 25 2024 NCC101-183-260100- /O.CON.KRAH.FA.Y.0026.000000T0000Z-240526T0100Z/ /00000.N.ER.000000T0000Z.000000T0000Z.000000T0000Z.OO/ Johnston NC-Wake NC- 716 PM EDT Sat May 25 2024 ...FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 PM EDT THIS EVENING... * WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...A portion of central North Carolina, including the following counties, Johnston and Wake. * WHEN...Until 900 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 713 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain from thunderstorms had come to an end, but the thunderstorms will cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 0.5 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. A flash flood warning is also in effect for portions of Wake County through 930 PM. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
