...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT MOORE...CENTRAL ANSON...
SOUTHWESTERN HARNETT...MONTGOMERY...RICHMOND...SOUTHEASTERN STANLY
AND SOUTHWESTERN LEE COUNTIES THROUGH 1100 PM EDT...

At 1022 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 7 miles east of Seagrove to 9 miles northeast
of Unionville. Movement was east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Sanford, Southern Pines, Rockingham, Wadesboro, Troy, Carthage,
Pinehurst, Hamlet, Aberdeen, and Biscoe.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM EDT for
central North Carolina.
