...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN NASH...EAST CENTRAL
WAKE...WEST CENTRAL WILSON...NORTHEASTERN JOHNSTON AND SOUTH CENTRAL
FRANKLIN COUNTIES THROUGH 645 PM EDT...

At 618 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Zebulon, or 18 miles east of Raleigh, moving east at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Zebulon, Bailey, Wendell, Spring Hope, Middlesex, Pilot, Emit, and
Buckhorn Reservoir.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
