...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHERN GRANVILLE...NORTH
CENTRAL WAKE...EAST CENTRAL DURHAM AND WEST CENTRAL FRANKLIN COUNTIES
THROUGH 945 PM EDT...

At 856 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Creedmoor, moving east at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts in excess of 30 mph, half inch hail and heavy
         rain.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible. Locally heavy rainfall could lead to ponding on
         roadways and ditches overflowing.

Locations impacted include...
Creedmoor, Wake Forest, Butner, Youngsville, Falls Lake, Falls Lake
State Rec Area, Purnell, and Rollingview Marina.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
