HOKE COUNTIES THROUGH MIDNIGHT EDT...

At 1057 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Sanford to 12 miles east of Ansonville.
Movement was southeast at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Fayetteville, Sanford, Southern Pines, Rockingham, Raeford,
Lillington, Carthage, Fort Liberty, Pinehurst, and Dunn.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 200 AM EDT for
central North Carolina.
