.DISCUSSION...
A few afternoon showers or thunderstorms will be possible through
this evening, especially in the mountains. Thunderstorms will be
more likely on Wednesday, some becoming strong to possibly severe.
Strong storms will be capable of producing damaging wind gusts,
small hail, and locally heavy downpours.
A cold front crosses on Thursday, and any thunderstorm ahead of the
front is not expected to be long-lived nor pose any severe threat.
Temperatures will be cooler in its wake, but still comfortable for
Friday and the weekend. There will be the chance for an afternoon
shower or thundershower as an upper-level disturbance hangs around
through the weekend.
