Overnight showers and thunderstorms drift to the east this morning,
allowing for a brief reprieve. Another system will bring chances for
precipitation this afternoon into tonight, mainly across the south
and east. Periods of showers and thunderstorms can then be expected
across the area through the weekend and into the beginning of the
next week.
Isolated severe storms could be possible this weekend, with the best
potential on Sunday. Localized flooding will also be a concern as
rounds of heavy rain continue to impact the area.
