...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN BOYD...CENTRAL
GREENUP...SOUTHWESTERN GALLIA AND LAWRENCE COUNTIES THROUGH 200 PM
EDT...

At 125 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Wheelersburg to near Franklin Furnace to
near Load. Movement was east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Ashland, Ironton, Coal Grove, Lake Vesuvius, Greenup, Load, Greenbo
Lake, Naples, Franklin Furnace, Flatwoods, Russell, Vernon, Waterloo,
Raceland, Worthington, Wurtland, Bellefonte, Aid, Westwood, and
Hanging Rock.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
