CENTRAL CABELL AND WESTERN WAYNE COUNTIES THROUGH 315 AM EDT...

At 243 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 13 miles east of Chillicothe to Mima. Movement
was east at 55 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Huntington, Ashland, Portsmouth, Ironton, Jackson, Wellston, Grayson,
Louisa, Coal Grove, Mcarthur, Oak Hill, Wayne, Rio Grande,
Chesapeake, Proctorville, Blaine, Lake Hope State Park, Beech Fork
State Park, Cannonsburg, and Lake Vesuvius.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 64 in Kentucky between mile markers 164 and 191.
 Interstate 64 in West Virginia between mile markers 1 and 12.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 600 AM EDT for northeastern
Kentucky.
