...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT
SMYTH...TAZEWELL...SOUTHWESTERN BLAND AND NORTHWESTERN WYTHE COUNTIES
THROUGH 615 AM EDT...

At 508 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from near War to 6 miles
southwest of Chilhowie. Movement was northeast at 50 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Rural Retreat...

and Ceres.
