ALLEGHANY COUNTY IN NORTHWESTERN NORTH CAROLINA AND SOUTHEASTERN
GRAYSON COUNTIES IN SOUTHWESTERN VIRGINIA THROUGH 730 PM EDT...

At 654 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Twin Oaks, or near Independence, moving east at 5 mph.

HAZARD...Pea size hail. Heavy rain.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Rain may cause
         minor flooding of roadside ditches, washing gravel and
         debris onto the highway.
