Mount Rainier Recreational Forecast

.SYNOPSIS...Weak high pressure will build in aloft for drier and
somewhat warmer conditions at Mount Rainier National Park Thursday.
Cooler and unsettled conditions will return Friday and will persist
into the weekend as the next system moves across the region. Upper
level ridging then looks to build into the interior West early next
week, however troughing over the northeastern Pacific will continue
and could bring additional chances of precipitation to the park at
times.

.THURSDAY...Partly sunny. Freezing level near 7000 feet.
.THURSDAY NIGHT...Mostly cloudy in the evening then becoming
partly cloudy. Freezing level near 8000 feet.
.FRIDAY...Partly sunny with a chance of showers. Snow level near
6000 feet.
.FRIDAY NIGHT...Mostly cloudy with showers likely in the evening,
then mostly cloudy with a chance of showers after midnight. Snow
level near 6500 feet decreasing to 5500 feet after midnight.
.SATURDAY...Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers. Snow level
near 5000 feet.
